Welcome to another edition of CHS On the List, our weekly roster of things to do on the Hill (and nearby). Add your events to the CHS Calendar to let us know about Hill happenings or send us mail. You can tell our pals at TheSunBreak.com about your cross-city activities. Our day-by-day listings are below — plus a special note about a May Day celebration for Capitol Hill’s newest park.
The big party we told you about earlier for the new Summit Slope Park and Unpaving Paradise P-Patch is this weekend:
Here are some details from organizers. Maypole!
Starbucks and Umpqua Bank are providing some goodies, and I believe some Council members (and maybe even the Mayor) will be coming by to celebrate. There will be a Maypole to welcome Spring and musicians have been invited to set the mood as you enjoy the park. For all the garden minded people, there will be a Tilth Master Composter giving a presentation at 1:30pm.You can see the invitation flyer attached.
