Prayer for the Crisis in the Arab World

A Call to Prayer.

Wednesday, March 2 · 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church
1729 Harvard Ave

We are in the midst of a once in a generation time of change. All across the Arab world in North Africa and the Middle East, Arabs, both Christian and Muslim, are joining together to demand better government. And wonder of wonders, totalitarian regimes are threatened. Some have fallen, some are fighting hard to stay in power, others are making preemptive strikes to keep protests from forming.

This service of prayer will be an open time for worship, confession, thanksgiving and prayers of supplication for the people of the Arab world. We will hear from local Christian leaders from North Africa and the Middle East. There will be time for everyone gathered to offer their hopes, their petitions, their prayers. While this will be a Christian worship service, people of all faiths are welcomed to join and pray.
