Best Friends Forever Reprised!

After the success of its world premiere in May, “Best Friends Forever” is back for a special encore performance the last weekend in September!

BFF is an original musical written by local Cornish student, Kat Miller.  It is being performed by members of Diverse Harmony, America’s first gay-straight alliance youth choir, located right here in Seattle.

The Story: Jess, the leader of the choir, and Andy, her gay BFF, know that their senior year of high school is destined to be great.  When their school choir gets an opportunity to go to Walt Disney World and compete in a prestigious competition for scholarships, they need to figure out how to raise money fast.  In comes Kaylie, a new girl whose ‘daddy’s got the cash’.  To impress the choir, Kaylie promises to take care of everything.  Further complications arise when Kaylie decides to remake Andy from frumpy to fabulous –much to the dismay of Jess who sees Andy being taken away from her.  Will Kaylie keep her promises?  Will Jess and Andy’s relationship survive?

Mexican food?

I know I’m probably only dreaming, but are there any acceptable mexican places on the Hill?  I tried El Farol on 15th but wasn’t impressed.  I did like Gallerias, but too expensive and the service is awfully slow.  Place above Broadway Market was eh.

The reviews on yelp don’t leave me much hope.  Is there any place to get a good chimi (my gold standard for all mexican joints) nearby??
