Goat horde returns to Capitol Hill, heat brings out critters

Goats clearing steep hillsides of brush are one of those things that, although they might not be completely new to Seattle, never fail to draw a crowd.  The Madison Gate apartments have called the goat horde from Goat Trimmers in to clear the hillside behind the property and this time… baby goats too!

Do you really need a reason to look a baby goat pictures?  Let’s dispense with the charade.  More pictures at Aribrownest.com

Light Rail Destruction Continues Unabated

Yesterday Brad posted a shot or two from his phone as the first phase of Light Rail destruction began for the Capitol Hill station.  This morning I was back with my camera as the house that served for many years as a frame shop was crushed.  Through the flying toxic dust and noise I got some pretty good shots of the last minutes of this house that lasted for the last 105 years where it stood until this morning.

See what happens next and a few more buildings that shall soon be no more over here.
