Seattle Police and Seattle Fire responded to a reported accidental shooting at a Broadway apartment building just after midnight.

According to emergency radio updates, a 911 caller reported the shooting victim was inside a unit of the Station House building above Capitol Hill Station around 12:02 AM. The approximately 25-year-old man was reported to have accidentally shot himself in the arm.

Seattle Fire arrived to treat the man and transport him to the hospital.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating.
