Kpop Nara making classic Capitol Hill move to E Pike

Just like the neighborhood’s residents sometimes find themselves moving only a block or two for a new home on their favorite home turf, Capitol Hill’s shops sometimes don’t want to move too far when finding a new place.

The first store in Seattle focused exclusively on K-pop music and culture is making a classic Capitol Hill move.

Seattle’s location of the Kpop Nara chain is moving from E Pine to E Pike’s Greenus Building with plans for a Halloween re-opening promising “a day filled with K-POP vibes, exclusive merch, and a whole lot of fun.”

CHS reported here in January as owners Lina Yiย andย YK Lee debuted the shop on E Pine where it replaced the US flagship store of Australian footwear designer Frankie4 Shoesย after the companyย opted to continue onย in theย Bellevue Square Mall.

Kpop Nara debuted on Capitol Hill as the first store in the city exclusively dedicated to K-pop merchandise saving fans a trip to KPOP Station in Tukwila.

It now joins neighbors at 500 E Pike including a 2022-born Capitol Hill location of the Studs piercing studio chain and 2020-born and pandemic-era survivor Meet Korean BBQ.

Kpop Nara Seattle will reopen October 31st at 500 E Pike. Learn more @kpopnaraseattle.
