A Capitol Hill 7-Eleven was victimized by an armed robbery late last Tuesday night.
According to a Seattle Police brief on the incident and East Precinct radio updates, an accomplice and the masked gunman entered the 15th and Denny store and pointed a “black semi-auto” handgun at the cashier just after 11:30 PM. The suspects then proceeded to grab cash out of the register before fleeing the store.
Police say it was reported the suspects fled the area in a silver SUV but officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
There were no reported injuries and no arrests.

More cops, please. On the beat, please. I’ll pay even more taxes for public safety, please.
Yup, same. Esp in capitol hill. Suburbs can fend for themselves.
I mean that would require the cops getting off their asses and not just standing around or harassing bus drivers.
I have no problem with a functional police department but I in no way want to throw more to these dipshits.
Takes one to know one.
I’m so sorry to hear about this. Every time I go in there they are so nice and friendly. I’m glad no one was injured.
I struggle with the 7-Eleven stores. The same with the Safeway on 15th. The owners do not take care of the exterior of the stores and make their properties look nice. Which deters folks that are up to no good. Both look very rough and unattractive. The interiors of 7-Elevens are really rough and not appealing to most. I’m not shocked and very sad this incident occurred. Its a shame that the retailers don’t put more effort into their stores. The 7-Eleven’s in Japan are so nice compared to the US counter parts. I wish that the 7-Elevens that are taking up valuable building space could be removed to make room for better businesses that would deter crime versus attracting it. The 7-Eleven on 15th and Denny always has some really dangerous looking characters hanging out in front of it as long as I can remember. Never been a shining spot of culture or community.
