Seattle Police were investigating after a woman was stabbed in the neck in what was believed to be a domestic violence assault just south of 11th and Pike early Monday.
UPDATE 2/6/2023 1:58 PM: SPD reports the suspect, identified as the woman’s ex-boyfriend, has turned himself in and has been booked into jail for investigation of first degree assault.
According to East Precinct and Seattle Fire radio updates, the woman was reported alert and conscious in the 1:15 AM attack as she was taken to Harborview with a significant cut to the neck and defensive stab wounds.
Seattle Fire was dispatched to the address of A-Pizza Mart on 11th Ave where they found the victim.
Police were looking for a known suspect who reportedly fled the scene on foot and was last seen running northbound on Nagle near Cal Anderson.
Officers were also dispatched to check on the victim’s Central District residence and make sure her family was safe.
The King County Sheriff’s helicopter unit was reported not available at the time to aid in the suspect search.
There were no immediate reported arrests.
The assault investigation followed an unusually busy Sunday for significant 911 calls around Capitol Hill.

I was there. The cops wouldn’t send an ambo. They didn’t give her aid. And she wasn’t conscious by 1:30 or 1:45 when the firemen slowly walked her out.
I have the link to the official gofundme for the survivor of the assault. Is there anyway it could be posted in an update on this story?
