  • Ingraham High School Shooting: One young person was reported shot and the suspect was arrested a short time later off campus in a Monday morning shooting at Ingraham High School that locked down the North Seattle Campus.
  • E John shooting: A woman was shot late Saturday night in the 1300 block of E John. SPD says it was called to the scene around 11:45 PM but could not find any signs of a disturbance. A short time later, the victim arrived at the emergency room at Swedish First Hill Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her thigh. Police say the victim was not cooperative, telling officers only that “a male approached her and tried to talk with her” and then “pulled a firearm out of his waistband and fired at her.” The woman was treated for her undisclosed injuries. There were no reported arrests. Earlier that night, police were called to First Hill’s Harborview after a teenager arrived at the emergency room after having been shot. Police say the 16-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries and said he had been driving with a friend when he was shot but would not tell police where the incident occured.
  • Boylston shooting: Police say the person who called 911 about being targeted by gunfire in the 1400 block of Boylston Ave Monday night changed his mind and declined to be a victim in the case. Police were called to the area around 10 PM Monday to a report of at least two shots fired. Police arrived and found “evidence of a shooting” but no victim. When they finally tracked the man down by phone, police say the man “was not cooperative and declined to return to the scene but stated he did not know the shooter and was not injured.”
  • Broadway alley robbery: A man was robbed of his phone at knifepoint Friday morning in a 500 block Broadway E alley. SPD says the victim told police he was walking and texting on his cell phone in the alley when a man and woman drove up in a black Ford Bronco and asked him to look up directions. The victim said the woman in the Bronco then pulled a knife and said “hand over your phone, I will kill you!” According to the SPD report on the incident, the victim handed over his phone and the thieves sped away. There were no immediate arrests but police say they were able to collect evidence at the robbery scene. There were no reported injuries.
  • Molotov cocktail threat: Police were called to a Capitol Hill area gas station Saturday morning, October 29th after a former employee suffering a mental crisis was reported at the station with a Molotov cocktail. The suspect fled before police arrived but was located at a nearby apartment building where they surrendered to police after a short standoff. The incendiary devices was also collected from apartment. There were no reported injuries.
