Shop the Hill, the long running effort from CHS, is partnering again with the GSBA and the Capitol Hill Business Alliance for the free service to help promote local retailers and small businesses and share updates on promotions, deals, and holiday offerings. WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 10TH
- Karen Dalton: In My Own Time screens at Northwest Film Forum, “interweaving excerpts from her poetry and journals with moving interviews and rare archival performance clips” from the folk singer’s life.
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 11TH
- BeatleConcert opens its rehearsal with a $15 performance at 12th Ave Arts in Strawberry Theatre Workshop’s “tribute to the songs that the Beatles never played in concert.”
- November Capitol Hill Art Walk: Bars, restaurants, merchants, galleries display creations from local artists including painting, photography, and sculpture at venues across Capitol Hill. Check out the map and listings for this month’s walk at capitolhillartwalk.com.
- Feel Good Friday with DJ Rocryte brings KUBE 93.3 FM’s mixshow DJ to the Cloud Room high above 11th Ave.
- The South Sound Experimental Film Festival 2021 takes place in person at Northwest Film Forum with “an inaugural one-night only curation of experimental short films from local artists.”
- Le Faux is back at Julia’s, “Seattle’s longest drag extravaganza, now in our 18th year of production.”
- The Hip Hop Nutcracker rolls in down the Hill at the Paramount
- Hedwig & the Angry Inch Sing-Along: Three Dollar Cinema hosts a special fundraiser and “sing-along version of the rock musical classic” at Capitol Hill’s Erickson Theatre.
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 14TH
- Capitol Hill Farmers Market: Enjoy the weekly market, 11 AM to 3 PM in the plaza at Capitol Hill Station.
- The Capitol Hill COVID Remembrance Project: Visit the memorial outside St. Joseph’s at 19th and Aloha through November.
