Been a bar for a long, long time–722 E Pike St appears to have been a bar since it was the Harvard Tavern starting in 1936. The current iteration, Life On Mars, is looking for photos of some of the bars of 722 past, we know those photos are out there and are looking for anyone willing to share and let us use the photos in a photo mural on site.
We’ve got some gems from people in the community and just a few gaps to fill from bars pre-2000s. Anyone out there who can help find these, please let us know at [email protected]
We’d love any photos or ads at all from the long-standing Harvard Tavern (1936-1964?) and the College Tavern & Forum Tavern through the 70s.
Then images of the exterior, ads, or anything else identifiable as the Brass Door or Brass Connection, the famed bar/club from the 80s-90s (we have a good collection of crowd photos, but welcome pics of the sign, the exterior or ads, flyers, etc) and any photos or ads of the run of Mr Paddywacks, Blu Video Bar, Beat Box/Bar.
