Thursday brings the 25th year of the annual day of gustatory goodwill now known as Dining Out for Life. A roster of the 32 restaurants and cafes participating across Capitol Hill and the Central District to raise funds for Capitol Hill-headquartered Lifelong is below.
Over the years, Lifelong has evolved as the HIV/AIDS crisis has shifted toward survival and service. In 2014, the nonprofit moved its operations to E Pike as part of a new complex of LGBTQ-friendly-est health and culture facilities including the Out of the Closet Thrift and AHF Pharmacy.

Love this event and love attending every year! It’s always great to see so many people dining out for Lifelong, a fantastic organization with a real history in the neighborhood. Thanks for the reminder!
Am I just missing something, or WTF? Not one restaurant in Bellevue. Not one restaurant in the entire International District. The entire Eastside has exactly one restaurant, in Renton. Are the restaurants in these areas just not interested, or is nobody asking them?
