CHS found Ann, a resident of the Capitol Hill/First Hill border zone, walking Nellie near E Union and Harvard. Nellie is a five-year-old “Puggle, but not purebred” and rescued from North Carolina. Nellie has a proven track record of “converting dog haters to dog lovers” and has a tendency to walk up to strangers and lay on her back, expecting belly rubs. Do not let her down.

We ask photographer Alex Garland to follow marchers in the rain and do crazy things like trying to make yet another picture of yet another huge apartment building look interesting.
