CHS Highlights
- Thursday, learn more about the plans for real estate giant Vulcan as it prepares to redevelop 23rd and Jackson. The Central Area Land Use Review Committee hosts.
- Saturday brings a night at Town Hall with Gay City’s Arts Showcase: Lush Us including performances from artists in Gay City Arts Season 3: Queer Revolution along with special guest performer Mary Lambert. Also Saturday, Capitol Hill’s Miller Community Center hosts the 2016 LGBTQ Youth Leadership Conference.
- Celebrate the Year of the Monkey with the Free First Saturday: Lunar New Year celebration at Volunteer Park’s Asian Art Museum complete with live martial arts performances by Mak Fai, music, dress-up, and family friendly sketching tours.
- Children are also at the center of a special Kid-Friendly Super Bowl Party Sunday at The Summit on E Pike. Or, for a canine-centered approach to Super Bowl Sunday, check out the Puppy Bowl Viewing Party and Motley Zoo Animal Adoption Event at Chop Suey. 21+ only for the Puppy Bowl, please.
- Sunday, you can get your Valentine something special at the Lonely Hearts Pop-up craft event at Bellevue Ave’s Broadcast Coffee.
