Good to see where visitors can get coffee in the morning and the like, but in my opinion most places should not stay open after 4pm. This holiday should be enjoyed by all, including those in the service industry. I feel bad for the people who have to work at Uncle Ike’s. Who wants to buy weed then anyway? I hope the people who are working then at least get extra pay for the holiday shift. If Ponder is closed during dinner tomorrow, I’ll add it to the list of why I moved my business to over there.
There are plenty of people who *like* working on Thanksgiving. During my service industry years, I preferred a festive shift at the restaurant to staying home or going to my parents’.
