Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour overnight so you’re ready to roll Sunday morning. For some of you, that means an extra hour of Halloween.
According to the liquor control board spokesperson we asked the last time this rolled around in 2009 and the organization was still the Washington State Liquor Control Board and not yet the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, bars may serve during the daylight savings bonus hour if they choose. However, as also noted back then, bars never do this because the staff is likely not enjoying the party the same way you are.
Happy fall back.

What? Bars serving during the extra hour isn’t at all uncommon in Seattle. It’s not up to bar staff but management. All my hangouts have served the extra hour since I turned 21 years ago.
Pedantic/nit picker at work here: Please note for next March when we go through the time change thing again that it’s really Daylight Saving Time. No S in there.
