2014 is a big year for Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day. In its sixth year(!), there are 90+ yard sales, garage sales, rummage sales and sidewalk sales on and around Capitol Hill Saturday.

We also are happy to have grown into an amazing new venue for the annual community lot. Working with new Garage Sale Day organizer the Cal Anderson Park Alliance, the neighborhood’s central park will be put to great use with more than 30 sales slated to take place in the meadow.

Garage sale day is a simple idea — a day for Capitol Hill neighbors to rally around to hold a yard sale and go yard sale shopping. A small $20 registration fee for the community lot spaces goes to support the Cal Anderson Park Alliance.
