We don’t know if these images from December of patrons enjoying a Seahawks Monday Night Football victory on the last night at Bill’s Off Broadway before it closed for two years of construction will bring the team and the city good luck on Saturday as the Seattle franchise makes its push for Super Bowl XLVIII. It is possible that the ghostly images from the already boarded up pizza bar could be part of a curse on a city that builds over places like Bill’s as quickly as it can. But it is also possible that a city that can encourage development that makes space for a business like Bill’s to return deserves a civic victory. Or it could just come down to the Seahawk pass rush against the Saint offensive line.

Seriously, does anyone have recommendations for a temporary Bill’s replacement in Capitol Hill?
