They’re free. They’re grassroots. They’re lots of fun. While Capitol Hill’s *official* participation in the annual Seattle Night Out is typically non-committal, you’ll find quite a few parties on the Hill’s streets tonight. CHS will be out there to get a few pictures and say hey. Details on three 2013 Capitol Hill block parties are below. You can also find at least two candidate parties on the Hill to celebrate Primary Election Night festivities. Let us know about any Hill-area parties we missed in the comments.
P.S. — If you have complaints about trash etc left behind at past parties, buy a box of garbage bags (send us the receipt and we’ll reimburse you) and talk to the party folks and we’re betting part of the problem will be solved.

City Market :)
Not the city market one, summit ave is having a block party this Saturday, I’m sure you left that one. out of the article?
Dear party people:
Enjoy yourselves. Please don’t throw your shit on my property. Or their property. Use the containers. Speaking of shit, do that in the appropriate container, too.
Thanks so much.
(s) One of the many people who had to clean up after you last year.
Thanx to everyone! And my street is cleaner than it was yesterday at this time, so no problems/complaints from 11th [that I’m aware of]. In the immortal words of Martha Stewart, “it was a good thing”.
