The all new YourCapitolHill.com website re-launches to the public on Friday June 19 at the very first summer movie at Cal Anderson Park. The website has morphed from a merchant directory of all the businesses and organizations located on Capitol Hill into a lifestyle blog that gives residents and visitors the “softer” news of what’s happening on the Hill.
A sophisticated filtered search also gives users the ability to drill down to highly specific results. Want a restaurant that’s cheap, vegan, caters to those with allergies and has WiFi? Done. ZPizza and Boom Noodle are it.
As presenting sponsor of Three Dollar Bill’s “I Need a Hero” summer series, YourCapitolHill.com will celebrate the redesign by offering prizes from Capitol Hill Chamber members. Get there early for a chance to win these amazing offers:
- $75 gift card from Central Co-op
- $50 gift card for Pagliacci Pizza
- tickets for 2 to any movie at NW Film Forum
- and $10 off coupons from our very own Capitol Hill owned and operated towncar service: Aces for Hire.
Prizes will be announced at 8:30.
The YourCapitolHill.com website is a product of the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce and Sound Transit and was created with business mitigation funds meant to offset the impacts of the Link light rail construction on Broadway. Civilization (formerly Dumb Eyes) built it.
