It makes me uncomfortable that so many of these new developments’ “mock-up” drawings show couples with baby strollers, middle-aged white folks, and suburban-sized luxury cars in front of generic mall-style storefronts. Really???? I’m sorry, but enough is enough – you have EVERY OTHER NEIGHBORHOOD TO COMMERCIALIZE. Quit ruining what makes Capitol Hill special. Gross.

I agree with Adam. This is what happens when you get a developer from Phoenix who has terrible taste by hiring Weber Thompson, the most homogeneous designers in the City. Gross is right.
