It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning through 11 PM Monday:

EVENING…* TIMING…TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE GREATER SEATTLE METROPOLITAN
AREA TODAY WILL BE SIMILAR TO SUNDAY…AND HUMIDITY WILL BE
SLIGHTLY HIGHER. WHILE TUESDAY WILL BE SOMEWHAT COOLER…THE
TEMPERATURES WILL STILL BE ABOVE NORMAL. A GRADUAL COOLING TREND
WILL CONTINUE FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK.* TEMPERATURE…HIGHS TODAY WILL BE IN THE MID 80S TO MID 90S IN
THE SEATTLE METROPOLITAN AREA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE
UPPER 50S TO MID 60S.* IMPACTS…HOT WEATHER LURES MANY TO RIVERS AND LAKES. PLEASE BE
AWARE THAT THE WATER…ESPECIALLY IN THE RIVERS…IS COLD ENOUGH
TO BE HAZARDOUS. IN ADDITION RIVER CURRENTS ARE STRONG THIS TIME
OF THE YEAR.THOSE SENSITIVE TO HEAT SPELLS…SUCH AS THE ELDERLY…AND THOSE
WORKING OUTDOORS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR A PERIOD OF HOT WEATHER.
