Our earlier report on 12th Ave fashion shop Style Syndicate shutting it down was premature, it turns out. Owner Paul Mendes informs he’ll have his vintage shop open a little while longer before bringing to a final close with a June rummage sale. Details below:

Knowing how you like to stay in the know, I’m happy to share that Style Syndicate is staying put through June 1st.   What changed?  Well,  I’m fully crushing on this l’il corner of the neighborhood.  So,  when offered the opportunity to extend another month, I quickly accepted.  We’ve refreshed the shop with bright and breezy looks for gals and guys.  So, come on by and see what Style Syndicate is serving up for spring!

New hours
Tue – Fri   3-7 pm
Sat & Sun 11-4

Meanwhile, if you can’t participate in June 8th’s Capitol Hill Garage Sale — or you have a ton of junk — you might want to join in Style Syndicate’s closing rummage sale:

We will be closing with a community rummage sale/tail gate party in the space on June 1st.  Knowing how unreliable Seattle weather can be, we’re sharing the space with any yardless/gargeless neighbors wishing to do a little seasonal clean out.  We will have great  Djs, fab finds and all your favorite neighborhood folk.  Space is on a first come first served basis,  so please email me at [email protected] and put “rummage sale” in the subject if you would like to participate.  There is no fee to participate.  Hopefully the weather will be awesome and we can be an indoor outdoor event!

And, as if that wasn’t enough news for the day, there will be a kick-ass dance party following the rummage sale.  Clear your space, sell your stuff, hang with your neighbors and dance your ass off all in one day.  Fabulous!
