Police took two suspects into custody Wednesday afternoon following a reported armed robbery attempt at Broadway and Jefferson. We’re still gathering details on this incident that went down just before 2 PM. Here’s a security bulletin passed on to CHS about the incident:
Seattle University Department of Public Safety monitored Seattle Police response to an attempted armed robbery of a delivery truck driver, at Broadway and E. Jefferson. A police cruiser on patrol was flagged down by the victim who reported two suspects had attempted to rob him. The victim advised officers the suspects’ descriptions and direction of travel into a building adjacent the incident. Within a few minutes, SPD officers located the suspects inside the private apartment building. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the E. Precinct
They tried to rob someone across the street from where they lived? Haven’t they watched the Sopranos? “You don’t $*it where you eat.”
If I’d just lingered over my lunch a little longer, I could have seen the whole thing!
