Capitol Hill Resident Exposing Health Care Struggles

You may have read in the Seattle Times last week about the People Passion Purpose (P3) project.

(see http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2018878936_p)

P3 is part of The Seattle Center’s Next 50 month of learning.  25 individuals were encouraged to intentionally follow one of their passions for nine months. So while this group of people went to work, and lived their daily lives, they  also began to focus on something they felt passionate about.

Some participants learned new skills, some began new businesses, and some actively looked for ways to improve our society.

One of the participants is Capitol Hill resident Erin Havel. As part of her passion project she wrote about her experience as a young adult cancer survivor and her struggles surrounding health care. She is now attempting to fund the book (The Malformation of Healthcare) on Kickstarter so she can have it professionally edited and ready for ebook publication before the November election.

If this is a topic you also feel passionate about, please help spread the word to fund this important project of one of our own neighborhood residents.
