It’s that special time of year again: Park(ing) Day is nigh. You have until 9/4 to claim parking spots. Some might make the point that the process has become overly fussy and regimented, but it’s still a wonderful civic event to “call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat”.
