Thanks to @Quazie for this early morning capture of a portion of the huge light rail tunnel boring machine being returned to the light rail construction area at Broadway and John. You might recall our pictures of the machine, nicknamed Brenda, coming to the surface near the Paramount Theatre at the beginning of the month after a 120+ day journey under Capitol Hill and I-5. While the tunnel boring beneath Capitol Hill has been mostly non-eventful and quiet, things haven’t gone so smoothly down in Montlake. We’ll have more on some residents’ issues with noise and vibrations caused by the tunnel construction process later this week.
Is there a map showing the route ‘Brenda’ will be taking from Broadway to Montlake? I heard there was home damage on Beacon Hill as well, the complaint in Montlake is news to me. I certaily hope it won’t be going under our house.

Brenda goes from the hill to downtown. The other two machines are going from Husky Stadium to Capital Hill.
If the tunnel was going under your property you would already know, because Sound Transit would have purchased an easement under your property a year or more ago.
