Stephen Brown, put on the spot, estimated that his 12th Ave shop has served up more than 60,000 dozen bagels in its first year of business on Capitol Hill. 

CHS visits Eltana this first night of Hanukkah as another 2,000 bagels a day’s worth of happiness goes out its door. Brown, clearly already thinking about the next 2,000, reminds that Eltana will be open Christmas day from 7a-2p. Congratulations, Eltana. And happy holidays.
