A man broke his leg after falling from the Denny overpass to I-5 August 4, according to the police report. The man told police he was being chased by two people who were trying to rob him when the fall occurred.

The man called police around 8:40 p.m., saying he was hurt, lying in the median next to the I-5 express lanes. Officers found him directly north of the Denny overpass in the median. However, the man seemed confused about what happened to lead up to his fall, and he told several different versions of the story, according to the report. In all versions, he said someone was chasing him in order to rob him, and then he fell.

He was taken to Harborview with a broken left femur.
