The local Abbey of St. Joan of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence held its annual kickball fundraiser Saturday night at Miller Playfield and local photographer Dixon Hamby was there. More pictures here. A portion of money raised at the game goes to support the Sisters’ Charity Grant Fund. The Sisters were also without one of their own. Game organizer Sister Karma Za Betch died last week. A memorial for Jon Krumbah is planned for August 27th at the Cuff.
