After being closed for summer for an overhaul of its lighting system, Bobby Morris playfield at Cal Anderson Park has re-opened. A massive soccer camp for kids filled the field Monday afternoon. If you saw those kids and thought, hey, how come they get to play on the field and I ca-an’t, you can. Parks says the field is open.

Most of construction fencing is gone. Some amount of pedestrian flow is returned to Cal Anderson. The skies may be grey, but we progress.
