More Capitol Hill on film: Indie film ‘Junk’ shooting scenes on 12th, Pine

Thanks to neighbor Justin for passing this notice posted outside 12th Ave residences about a movie shoot going on in the area on Monday. Producer Joy Saez didn’t mention the La Spiga filming but she did tell us they’ll be shooting scenes at the Capitol Club, also. You can follow Saez on Twitter @joysays. Monday is a busy day for La Spiga, by the way. If the Junk scenes are still a go at the restaurant, they’ll have to scramble when the action wraps before hosting Monday night’s Spirit of the Hill dinner hosted by the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce. It’s a fundraiser for the chamber so tickets are a hefty $95 a pop for non-members, $85 (and still available!) for but if you’re looking to enjoy a meal with the Capitol Hill power core and get a night of music and entertainment out of the deal, that’s a sure bargain, no?

We also got notices like this at Boylston and Pine. A guy even rang my intercom to talk about it. That’s a dedicated producer.
