The female rider of this scooter suffered minor injuries including scratches to her leg in a collision with a car Monday afternoon on E. Pike. The driver of the Ford Focus involved in the crash was not injured. The just-past 1 PM incident was one of relatively few 911 callouts over the long holiday weekend on Capitol Hill. We have information about a fire dispatch and a DUI and assault over the weekend that we’re still looking into but, other than those, right now it sounds like the Hill had a mostly safe and sane 4th.
