Rob Welch has been mixing drinks at Capitol Hill watering holes like Quinn’s and Thumpers for years but illness is forcing him from his trade. Capitol Hill folks who enjoy a good pour will gather today at Sole Repair for The Great Rally for Rob:
Those of you that have lived in the Capitol Hill neighborhood have no doubt bumped to Rob at Quinn’s or one of the other bars that he’s served a drink in. Unfortunately due to a slowly degenerating disease, Rob will no longer be able to work at Quinn’s and needs our help.
This Sunday please join Quinn’s in a charity event, to benefit Rob in his time of need. Between now and the start of the event you can purchase a $25 ticket that is good at the door for included drinks and food. If you can’t purchase ahead of time you can purchase a ticket at the door.

How/where can we donate to help rob?
Thanks for the post. Known rob for years, so has my partner. Haven’t seen him out for a while and although we only know him as customers would like to help.
