What’s with the old metro bus pic? Metro hasn’t run those buses for several years.

I debated between my photos of the old MAN articulated trolley which is actually on the 43 route, and a more recent photo of non-43 trolley. The oldie has sentimental value, so it won.
I should also mention that I got stuck for >20 minutes on the 43 today while attempting (but failing) to cross the Montlake Bridge. Is there a hillku curse?!

This guy is the nicest bus driver ever! He is always so pleasant and says the easiest things like “here we go”, or whatever in this wonderful, gentle pleasant voice. And he’s cute and sweet, really a great trip when he pulls up, you just smile and think, oh yay, it’s the nice bus driver!

I am the driver you mention. All I can say is wow, thanks! You folks are fantastic. I can’t even articulate how (or why) it’s so exciting to drive you guys around saying stuff like “here we go.” I’m on the 43 for one more week…don’t forget to come ride! Think of excuses to go to 15th & John!
Thanks for being in a good mood out there, and for the nice comments, and for not peeing in the back of the bus, Nathan

Nathan! You found us! Thanks for the comment and for being a fantasticly nice and safe driver. Makes me feel good about Seattle again. Will we see you on another route?

Yes! It’s all about the 3 and 4, baby! It’s time to go to Harborview Hospital!
Maybe 15th is not so far after all…
Thanks for making me smile this AM.
