So much stuff going on, we figured it would be good to sum it all up for you in one tidy package.
- Tonight: Sound Transit Phase 2 construction kick-off community meeting at Seattle Central, 6 PM.
- Tonight: Capitol Hill arts walk. Details at http://blitzcapitolhill.com and some more notes on tonight’s walk from us later today.

- January 19: CHS Happy hour at Po Dog Gourmet Hot Dogs with first round of beer courtesy of Emerson Salon.
- January 21: Seattle Neighborhood Blogger meetup at the Lookout.
- January 23: Children’s Film Festival and pancake feast at Northwest Film Forum.
- January 27: CHS ‘How To’ workshop for local businesses and orgs at Office Nomads.
- January 28: East Precinct Community Crime Prevention meeting. Let them know about where on the Hill you’d like to see more patrols.
- February 7: The Wifflebowl. Play with a team of CHS nerds against Linda D’s hipster-loaded squads from Linda’s Tavern, Oddfellows and Smith. Part of the http://www.beardandstachefest.com benefit. Seriously. We need players. And by players, we mean people familiar with the risks — and benefits — of performance enhancing drugs.
Yeah, how do we sign up to play for the CHS squad?
Leave a comment here and I’ll be in touch or send us a note [email protected]
I’ll be out of town for this one but it would be good to get a wiffle ball league started. I’d love to play in something like that.
I emailed about the wifflebowl but have not heard anything back. I would really like to play.
Me too!
Hi! I signed up to partake in the beard/stache Wifflebowl, and I don’t know what team I’m on, so I’d love to be a part of the CHS team. I also work with the lovely Dana who writes your Hill Style column, so I bet she would come cheer for us!
Hi Jonathan,
You are on the team! There’s still spaces open for friends!
