Capitol Hill Snapshot (#3) – Broadway

My original plan for this one was to focus on all the activity around Dick’s, but I decided I’d be better off on the other side of the street, so I could also get the empty Sound Transit lot, which won’t be empty for long!

This is the third of my weekly series of ambient shots around Capitol Hill. Every week I’ll pick a different spot and stay for about 10 minutes to create a ‘snapshot’ of that location at that moment.

PAST EPISODES

Episode #1 – Cal Anderson Park

Episode #2 – Thomas St P-Patch

actually the real tisk tisk goes to the Ford Explorer (at the start of that same shot) that almost hit the biker that you can see right next to it. The way I cropped it you can’t tell, but they were having a stare down and arguing pretty loudly, you can barely here the biker say something like “you may go now” at 1:02. I liked the shot because it showed how chaotic it can be between peds and cars around here.

Hey, thanks for posting these!
I’ve been following the blog for a few months now.
I’m in Egypt for graduate study and I’ve been getting
homesick for Seattle pretty bad lately!

The blog, pictures, and video are a great way to still feel connected to
my old capitol hill community!
Let me know if you do requests ;)

yeah I do take requests (although no guarantees I’ll do them all!), and I set up a forum thread for just that purpose.
