2 questions:
a. Why does it seem that the only cancelled classes in the seattle area are in BLOCKS? i.e. it isn’t just the ‘Soccer 1’ class that gets cancelled, but the entire day. (Likewise for the confirmed classes) – Can I presume this means you look at minimum enrollment levels in day-blocks, across the entire range of ages, when deciding to go ahead or cancel?
b. Why in the world did you wait until 1 hour prior to cancel Montlake’s (or any other locale’s) entire set of classes? ONE HOUR’s NOTICE? This is a horrible way to run a business where your customers are little kids, some trying out the sport for the very first time. Certainly you could institute an enrollment cut-off date and give kids and parents 3 days or more notice like nearly every other kids program (the children’s theatre comes to mind). Even SCCC gives mroe notice than that!! Surely you didn’t discover you didn’t have enough kids 60 minutes before the start of class!
