It’s heating up on the streets with a few notable acts of violence popping up in the East Precinct scanner reports. We’ll have to wait a few days to get more information on these from the Seattle Police Department’s incident logs but wanted to get word out about the armed robbery, especially:

• Monday, 4:28PM  – E. Denny Way & E. Olive Way  – Strong Arm Robbery
  Person robbed on the street. Suspect is a white male, sunglasses, light blue shirt, shorts, last seen westbound.
• Today, 2:18PM  – 1525 11th Ave  – Assault
  Two males fighting outside Value Village. One sans shirt, one with tattoos, not clear which is lying in the street. Medics standing by. Update: Suspect is riding off on a bicycle. Victim is being carried off the street by others

We also checked into this ID fraud bust at Chase Bank on Broadway but SPD could not provide any additional information at this time. We’ll be able to learn more when the report comes through later this week.
