Your weekly CHS paper – Light rail 2016 edition

To celebrate the start of Seattle’s light rail system, we’ve pulled together several recent articles about light rail on Capitol Hill. It’s a bit of a scrapbook of recent coverage and a primer on some of the issues — and opportunities — Capitol Hill faces.

We also have our regular weekly CHS wrap-up for your downloading pleasure.

Seattle enters its light rail public transit era this weekend with free rides and fanfare. If you print this week’s copy of the CHS print edition, leave it on the train. Enjoy the sunshine.

Not to disparage the hard work that goes into CHS news, but please let’s not encourage folks to leave print copies of it on our beautiful new trains. Let’s keep the new trains clean!

A new website called SeattleLightRail.net shows businesses, parks, church and libraries (to name a few) near the brand new Seattle Link. With the Grand Opening yesterday, it is a great tool for visitors and riders.
