This is happening pretty far from Capitol Hill but it has much of the East Precinct tied up so wanted to let you know about what’s going on. Central District News is covering a police standoff where police believe suspects are holed up in a home on 32nd Ave S after a shooting. CDNews says that around 8:33 PM, a police radio report indicated a man had been shot in the head by another man with an AK-47. As of 9:30 PM, police had surrounded the area and closed nearby streets to traffic.
