Here is what we know: Eeyore’s Birthday Party organizers want you to bring drums, instruments and noisemakers, costumed self, costumed children, costumed pets, poi, juggling pins & balls, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, stilts, facepaint and bodypaint.
Everything else is a guess. But the event this Saturday afternoon in Cal Anderson Park looks like a good way to extend your earth loving vibe into the weekend. There will also probably be a few hippie kids around you can borrow to score a free ice cream cone across the street at Molly Moon’s grand opening.
To put a little more Eeyore in it, there’s a 20% chance of rain in the forecast. No matter. After all, what are birthdays? Here today and gone tomorrow.
Surely we should all be bringing a useful pot and a burst balloon.

I’m so excited about Eeyore’s Birthday being celebrated in Seattle! Thank you for writing the story. Also, thank you Andrew Taylor for that link! :D
That is very true Indigo. There are many kinds of people that enjoy Eeyore’s birthday in many different fashions. That kind of melting pot is what makes the festival the glorious and immersive spectacle that it is. :)
