I make no claims to be the sixth sense type, but some time in the early AM I had a dream about earthquakes. Then I woke up to the news. FYI & FWIW: I also dreamed about some kind of alien invasion, too.
It woke me up because stuff fell off a high shelf. When I sat up, my bed swayed back and forth for a bit. I may have slept through it if it weren’t for the noise.
I dreamed I was snoring and woke up. Was it the earthquake? Maybe. Or I really was just snoring at that particular time this morning.
I’m sure living next door to a major construction project has something to do with it. I assume all loud noises are related to that, and they have been known to start as early as 5am if special equipment is brought in.
I’m also used to minor earthquakes so they don’t faze me much.
in which i thought el chupacabra was coming to get me. then after i was awake it took me a few seconds to realize my bed shaking wasn’t normal (i’ve been single a while).
my dog and birds were totally flipping out at 5.30ish and I figured out why when I heard the news.
I was awake and working on some web stuff at that time, and I didn’t feel a thing.
