I’ll be vigilant rather than a vigilante!
Seriously though, when I was bitten by a squirrel years ago, I consulted public health and they told me that rabid squirrels were VERY rare, and the greatest danger was tetanus. So, if you’re not up to date on your tetanus shots (for so many reasons!)….
Spell-check is only a good thing when it picks the correct word. Luckily for me I am current on just about any shot that one can get due to my impending trip to Southeast Asia.
Get the typhoid shots not the tablets! My daughter got the tablets. The Doctor in Kenya treating her for typhoid remarked that she (the doctor) treated way more tourists who’d had the pills than the shots…
Really. I have the tablets at home but have yet to take them. Maybe I’ll say I lost them and get the shot instead.
This was not a carefully controlled medical trial, just the remarks of one doctor to one patient. You mileage may vary.
