3 reported!3{2}burglars still on the loose!?

WTF! The police know about these 3, one has been picked up 5 times in the last 6 months yet he’s still on the streets? Anyone have new info on these guys? I thought they were locked up but I guess not. This situation is freaking me out.

“I wanted to let you know that we were broken into yesterday afternoon, must have been at 3:00-3:30ish just before I got home from work. Our neighbour actually saw the guys leaving with our musical instruments (baritone sax, my acoustic guitar and my son’s acoustic) and thought they were people that we knew! The police got a group of teenagers (3 of them) in a stolen car while the officers were at our house investigating the break in. Apparently one of them is 17 so unable to be put away, but has been picked off 5 times in the past 6 months! They think the others are about 16. Another house on 30th got hit for instruments recently too. We have not had a good experience since moving to Madrona, supposedly a “better” area. We never had any problems over on 24th Ave!

It doesn’t matter what the police think they know or how many times they “pick someone up”. It’s not the duty of our police to put and keep people behind bars. That’s up to a judge or jury. Police take notes, stop immediate danger, and get people who seem to have done something wrong in front of a judge.

If you are caught breaking into someone else’s home then you are no longer innocent, ditto if you are caught driving a car that does not belong to you. Sounds like their ages has somehow shielded them from a jail sell.
