What not to wear to QFC

While purchasing a gallon of milk at the self-serve checkout at QFC today, I overheard an employee chatting with another man about “a commotion” downstairs. I tried to stay focused on my transaction, but my interest was again piqued when the apron clad employee picked up the phone a few feet from me and shared a laugh with someone else about the incident.

My curiosity eventually got the best of me and I asked him what had happened. With a grin on his face the clerk told me that a man had decided to visit QFC wearing nothing but tennis shoes and a diaper.

I’m not sure how the situation played out, but in my mind I picture a large diapered man being chased by a large crew of baton-waving security guards through the frozen food aisle. Personally I laud this shopper’s decorum in choosing to wear a diaper, it would have been far less tasteful not to wear one.

Excellent! I like the white socks and sneakers – they really round out the outfit.

The sign said “No Shirts, No Shoes, No Service” and I’ve got on a Shirt and Shoes!

I know Google Ad jokes are kind of lame but this one made me laugh.
