Looks like the vote to decide what day we should hold a Capitol Hill community garage sale day is coming down to a race between May 31st and June 14th. If you care, make sure to vote.
To get you in the mood, the folks from Justice Works! have been holding a sale on Wednesdays and Saturdays to raise funds for their organization. Their mission: “undoing racism in the criminal justice system as experienced by African Americans.” We haven’t stopped by to see what’s for sale but we like their shiny gold posters. Check em out on 15th Ave just past Chutney’s Grille on the Hill(e).
