We like to think of ourselves as well-informed, with-it type people. But when it comes to politics and elections, we usually feel out of it. Not disenfranchised but disconnected. So, Victrola’s upcoming caucus event fits right into our political swirl:
Victrola is proud to announce that our original cafe on 15th will be the location of the neighborhood caucus on February 9th! As out manager Tonya says, “what fun live political debate right here.” Here, here! So start planning your platform now, and we’ll know more details (like the start time!) shortly.
What is it? Are the results binding? Can 15th leave the union? Is wrestling fixed? Like most things political, we’ll show up, try to figure it all out and punch our ballot/pull the crank/cast our tile.
To find out where YOUR Caucus is (assuming you are going to a Democratic Caucus) get thee to the
WA Democratic party Caucus Finder.
Mine’s at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Republican Caucus Finder.
Victrola seems like too small a location to hold a caucus in – have they done that before?
