Man, are we paying for the sins of our slothful past! There is a huge, sloppy wet swath of mushy leaves in the gutter and street in front of our house that refuses to go away. Stepping in the street to get the car is like tip toeing through the bottom of a giant half-eaten bowl of raisin bran.
What will become of this mush? Will it eventually dry in the summer heat and turn into a papyrus-like substance suitable for wrapping gifts? There are always cars parked on the street so, even if a street cleaner came our way, it wouldn’t be able to get to the mush. We’re permanently mushed in!

FINALLY (Fall was quite a while ago) our street got sawhorsed, all the cars left and the streetsweeping trucks came by and cleaned it all away. First time in living memory!
It is possible to scoop the mess into your green City yardwaste container and have them take it away. And it’s even easier if you do so while they’re nice dry freshly fallen Fall leaves…….
OK I admit it, I did some as leaves with a rake and a lot as a mushy mess using a snow shovel!
Has the Mommie mafia gong away? I want to buy bake goods in peace. If they are still after north hill bakery, then we nned to fight back, cookie by cookie.
Can we get that Mommie energy focused on something beside their own kids. Would make the world a better place.
