Regulars have surely already marked their calendars. Next week, 19th Ave caffeine service provider Fuel Coffee celebrates its one year anniversary with an in-store birthday bash. The invitation cards on the counter promise lots of goodies and fun on Thursday, March 30.

While we’re too shy to be on a first name basis with any of the baristi or the owner or even the owner’s dog, we’re looking forward to dropping in on the festivities. One, we love the coffee shop and want to celebrate the success of something great in our new neighborhood. Two, we want to eat free cookies.

For those of you who haven’t experienced the wonders of Fuel, now is a great time to stop in, enjoy some foamy coffee goodness and say happy b-day. It’s one of the coolest coffee joints in the city — see? 3.5 out 4.0 on the cool scale!
